A Tactile Story by Bisila Noha
An encounter between Tacchini and Bisila Noha, in collaboration with Fondazione Officine Saffi, exploring the dialogue between art, design and material.
A story takes shape.
Casa Tacchini reaffirms its place as a venue for encounters between design vernaculars and disciplines, a space for research and cultural comparison where different stories, sensitivities and perspectives are welcome.
Created in conjunction with Fondazione Officine Saffi, "A Tactile Story" is a conversation between two sensibilities, that of Tacchini and the artist Bisila Noha, united by a curiosity of materials and their infinite possibilities that finds its natural home in Casa Tacchini.
The exhibition fosters a dialogue between the domestic setting of the Milanese apartment in Largo Treves and the ceramic works of artist Bisila Noha, winner of the Tacchini Prize awarded during the sixth edition of the Officine Saffi Awards entitled Forms of Belonging. The exhibit offers an intimate and sensorial exploration into matter, memory and belonging.
"Casa Tacchini is more than a place to present our products: it’s a domestic space capable of welcoming different design languages. Bisila Noha's work struck us with its ability to transform ceramics into story, memory and identity. Opening our doors to her research means bringing to life a dialogue between design, art and culture that is the aim of our space."

The ceramic vases and objects work in synergy with the signature pieces and architecture of Casa Tacchini to become part of a whole. New relationships are created thanks to a crossover into fields supposedly divergent yet which in reality are similar to each other and capable of speaking to each other.
Ceramics have the capacity to preserve and transmit stories and this is where Tacchini's vision and that of the artist meet.
"In ceramics I find a way to explore what remains, what is transmitted and what can be transformed. The forms I create have their roots in stories and traditions but they also become a personal language, one capable of recounting experiences in which we can all recognize ourselves."
